The last series of matte dials that Rolex used in the Submariners are known by collectors as the Maxi Dials. This is the penultimate version - the Mk4. The watch is in overall great condition - the case is strong with thick lugs and crown guards and has benefitted from a recent refresh to restore the factory lines. The dial is flawless with the oversized hour plots having a cool cream patina that is a very good match with the hands and bezel pearl. The bezel insert has remained a rich, deep black colour that frames the watch perfectly. The bracelet is a 93150 flip-lock with 580 endlinks in good tight condition. We have had the watch fully serviced by our watchmaker. The watch will come with a Bulang and Sons strap of your choice.*
