This double quick set watch houses a very rare light coloured birch burlwood dial.
It is a rare sight to see a white gold Day-Date with wood dial and this example is in stunning condition with white gold details on the dial including the coronet, hours and aperture surrounds. This is a rare opportunity to acquire a true connoisseur's Rolex!
The case remains thick and sharp with nice even lugs. The fluted bezel still has good definition and the watch has an English day disc.
This special watch is accompanied by the original punched papers that state a 1996 sale date in Germany. The double quick set automatic movement has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
