Beyond its distinctive barked finish, the Datejust 1607 retains the classic features of a 16xx series Datejust watch, including a "pie-pan dial" with a blue soleil finish, gold printed text, and the Sigma signature at 6 o'clock—indicating that the hands and hour markers are made from 18k gold, a hallmark of Rolex watches from the 1970s.
The case and hand-engraved bezel are in excellent condition, as is the bark-finished Jubilee bracelet with a non-concealed clasp, which fits wrists up to 20 cm. We especially like the tasteful combination of yellow gold and royal blue on this DJ. The watch has been fully checked and regulated by our watchmaker.
