The World Time Patek

For many, wearing white gold is a lot less blingy that yellow or rose. In 2000 Patek unveiled their new World Time watch, the reference 5110. During its six-year run it was available in yellow, white and rose gold as well as platinum. Measuring a good-sized 37mm, the watch enabled the wearer to monitor the local time in all the time zones featured on the dial. Aesthetically, the watch is very much of the Calatrava family, but the standout feature is the centre dial. The hand-finished guilloche dial is beautiful.
