One Watch, 5 Days, 5 Ways Series #01
Dear watch/style lovers. I am sure its not a secret that we love to add some style to the watches we wear. And also love to mix and match our watches with different straps and styles to change the look and feel, depending on our mood, setting and styling of the day. Change from an dress watch to an tool watch look, change color or match it to your bag, belt, shoes or other accessories. Make your own style statement.
That is so much fun and in a time where finding real nice vintage watches becomes harder and harder every day its a nice way of keeping a fresh look on your wrist. Without changing watches. But also for modern watches its just great fun.
So today we start this series of articles. One watch, 5 Days and 5 Ways. Ross Povey and i will show you some of our favorite combinations. In the future we will challenge you to show us your choices and of course we will reward our favorites with some cool style packages.
Have fun with your watches.

Today we start with #01 > my favorite Rolex 1680 Maxi Dial Submariner
This is one of my favorite watches. Its my ‘Daily Vintage Rolex beater’ watch. The watch that i always go to and feel most connected with over the years. Its not perfect, but the fat maxi dial indexes, the killer grey faded inlay and the use of the #19 super dome makes it the perfect vintage Rolex for me. A perfect synergie of thin case sea dweller and maxi mk1 5512 Submariner. The fat indexes of the Mk1. 4 lines and a date. Its such a blast on the wrist. And it matches so well with all kind of different straps and style accessories.
Wearing it with a slick jacket or on the beach in Mallorca. Putting on the contrast between tool watch feel and elegance. But also wearing it on a jubilee bracelet. This watch can shine in all situations. Thats what i love about it.
Ses how great it looks with some medium brown straps and tone.
The dark leather single-pass strap gives it a real cool and mystic look.
Oops…
I know i am cheating … these are already more then 5 images. But can’t stop … to many variations i love.
See what happens with the Diablo strap. The grey just pops against the red/black.
But also for a total different look see what happens with an canvas strap. On my wrist.. and on our model of the last B&S lifestyle shoot. Loved the image.
How about matched leather and style between single-pass strap and belt.
So i promisse to you… from now one we stick to our own concept.
One Watch… 5 Days.. and only 5 Ways.
Sorry i could not stop. Maybe i need professional help 😉
Enjoy
